A Basic Drone Flying & Imaging Workshop

Are you an excited new owner of a DJI drone? Or perhaps you have been flying your drone for a while but feel the need to solidify your flying, photography and cinematography skills. If so, then this workshop is made especially for you.
Join us for an intensive 2-day workshop to be held atop two DMCI Homes roof decks with an unobstructed flight space around. Learn the basics of flight safety, drone care, essential DJI flight functions and safety features. Acquire the skills to keep your drone flying safely and avoid mistakes and crashes.
If you find that making the correct settings, video format, composition and cinematic drone moves is a bit overwhelming, fear not as this will also be covered in the workshop. You should be on your way to being a confident, safety-first aerial photographer after completing the workshop.

Optimum camera settings for photography | Camera Modes (AEB, Panorama, etc) | Finding captivating subjects and compositions | Making 360 panoramas and how to showcase them | Video settings | Using ND filters for video | Basic cinematic flight maneuvers | Shooting in D-LOG and how to use LUTS properly | Using DJI Intelligent Flight Modes
Registration is only P6,500. This includes lunch on Day 1 as well as lecture PDFs and video tutorials. Slots are limited so hurry. Kindly refer to the next section for instructions and register before slots run out. You may also bring your regular cameras and tripod if you also wish to shoot cityscapes from our roofdeck venues.

About your workshop facilitator: Jay is a full-time professional photographer specializing in the capture of architectural, leisure, commercial and industrial spaces with an eye for artistic landscape interpretation of the assisgnment. He is a professional drone pilot and cinematographer with a CAAP Remote Piloted Aircraft System certificate. He brings with him over a decade of experience and knowledge as a professional working with the top corporate clients in the country and abroad.
NOTE: Please note that this is NOT a certification course and as such cannot be used for application of CAAP RPAS certificate/license. This workshop is intended for recreational drone flyers / non-professional imaging.
