CHASE THE LIGHT

NEPTUNESCAPES

The Philippines' Premier Landscape Photography Workshop

April 22-23, 2023

"How do I take next-level, artistic landscape shots?  How do I compose a scene for an effective, scroll-stopping photo? What filters do I get first, and how do I use them in the field? "Long exposures" - what are those, why do the best landscape photographers seek to master this technique, and how can I also do the same with my gear?  Silky water, fantastic golden hour colors, capturing the Milky Way....how do the pros do it?  And hey, I just want to explore a new place and shoot some great landscapes!"

These are just some of the questions that anyone who wants to try landscape photography first asks. These are the basic (and advanced) questions that Chase the Light Neptunescapes Landscape Photo Workshop will answer. This workshop is designed to be a fun and immersive experience for beginners and advanced photographers alike.  It willl be an intensive (but chill) weekend of learning and gentle initiation into the lifelong pursuit of crafting landscape photographs, in a place that is inspiring to capture as much as it is relaxing to explore.

Chase the Light will take place along the long, rugged, pristine coast of Real, Quezon, a mere 3-hour drive from Manila. It will be on the weekend of April 22-23, 2023. The workshop will consist of a number of coastal shoots with full side-by-side guidance on the nuances of composition, camera settings, filter use and other skills needed to make you a confident landscaper. There will also be a waterfalls shoot plus a sunset session overlooking the windmills of Pililla. Conditions permitting, there will also be an astrolandscape session for the Milky Way before the sunrise shoot.

Chase The Light continues the heritage and standards of the Philippines' premier (and longest running) landscape photography workshop, Chasing Light. It will be facilitated by professional photographer Jay Jallorina, who has now lead over 100+ landscape workshops and photo tours since 2009. Jay is well-recognized as a brand ambassador and endorser for top camera and peripheral brands and is an enabling pioneer in the landscape photography scene in the Philippines.

The workshop fee is P8900 inclusive of van transportation, overnight a/c accommodations and meals during the workshop. A deposit of P5000 is required to reserve a slot with balance due before the workshop date. The workshop is limited only to a few slots so please reserve and book your slots as soon as possible.
